Lynne Ager SWLondonCBT.com

I receive ongoing weekly supervision to maintain ethical practice. I also regularly attend continuing professional development courses in order to keep my CBT and Counselling skills up to date.

I am a highly qualified Registered General Nurse with experience in various private practices as well as The NHS. I initially worked in the field of Oncology at The Royal Marsden Hospital in London and then went on to practice in the Primary Care setting, counselling a wide range of issues.

I have worked as a Fertility Awareness Practitioner and gained The Fertility Awareness Diploma. This involved counselling women and couples who were having difficulty conceiving and supporting them through their problems.

I have also trained in bereavement support and have worked on a voluntary basis at Princess Alice hospice where I offered one to one support for relatives who had lost loved ones.

It was my passionate interest in people and a natural desire to care that led me to finally study CBT/REBT at the College of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies in Central London. I have attained the advanced integrative CBT/REBT qualification.

I believe that offering a warm and non-judgmental approach to my clients is the basis for good therapeutic work.
